Hello Families!
Happy New Year! I hope everyone enjoyed the winter break. We
are getting back into the swing of things in our classroom. In Math, we are
strengthening our skills in addition and learning about how to identify even
and odd numbers by playing dice games and using Brainpop Jr. on the computer.
In Science, we are continuing our study of living and
nonliving things and plant life cycles. This week we are focusing on our
amaryllis because it grew quite a bit over the winter break! We observed our
plant, and then recorded its measurement (10 inches tall!) and other properties
we discovered by looking at it closely.
Classroom supplies
We are running low on shared classroom supplies such as
disinfecting wipes, tissues, dry-erase markers, and extra snacks. Any
contributions would be greatly appreciated.
