We're almost there! Our class has received a
postcard from almost all of the fifty states in our country. We hope to receive
South Dakota, Arkansas, and Oklahoma soon.
Each time a postcard is received it is shared at
morning meeting, and then the state is colored on our maps according to the
region in which it's located. We also hang the postcards up in our classroom.
We have also received postcards from many
different countries such as Israel, Greece, Indonesia, New Zealand, France,
South Africa, Ireland, Thailand, and Australia. We keep track of which
countries we've received by coloring a map as well.
