100th Day

Last week, we celebrated the 100th day of school! One of the activities on this special day was to combine Art and Math to make a one hundred piece mosaic. First, we looked at examples of mosaics to learn how they are created. Then, we planned how to make our own. After gluing all the pieces down, we checked each other's mosaics to make sure they had exactly 100 pieces.
